Lewis, originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, moved to London in the early 2000s to begin his IT recruitment career.
It was certainly an eye-opening introduction to the industry, with its continually evolving market and technologies. From that point on he was hooked, and in 2005 he had the opportunity to emigrate to Christchurch to continue building his successful recruitment career.
Lewis has spent over 20 years working closely with organisations across New Zealand, as well as the UK and Europe. He takes the time to understand each organisation’s exact requirements, goals, and the culture and environment they are looking to create. At the same time, he works closely with both contract and permanent IT professionals to help them identify their next career step and find the right fit.
Given the amount of time Lewis spends immersed in the New Zealand IT sector, he is also a valuable source of knowledge on all aspects of recruitment, including market insights, remuneration trends, and candidate availability.
Outside of the office, Lewis enjoys spending time with his young family exploring the outdoors of New Zealand and continuing his search for the perfect Hazy IPA, Cortado, and Whisky region.
