1. What is something not many people know about you?

I’m into musicals and theatre and I’m a big foodie. Also, I can turn my eyelids inside out – that’s my party trick.

2. Why did you get into recruitment?

Like most people, I fell into it by accident having gone to a recruitment company to find my next sales role. I was sold the dream and I’m still here many years later – I haven’t looked back!

3. Favourite city/country you have been to?

🍀Ireland for sure – I recently visited over winter and hope to go back in summer next year 😊 they have Percy Pigs.

4. Favourite thing to do at the weekend?

As I mentioned, I’m very into my food and wine 🍷so when budget permits, I love to eat out. Otherwise, recreating MasterChef creations at home with a few drinks and games with friends.

5. What do you like best about your job?

The recruitment equivalent of runner’s high – the rewarding feeling of placing a great candidate and filling that gap for a client. I love searching for rare skillsets and successfully shoulder tapping to marry up great candidates with their next company.

6. What is your biggest fear?

Oh gosh … I’m not sure … paying an exorbitant amount for a bad restaurant experience? 🤷🏽‍♀️

7. Favourite food/cuisine?

This is an impossible question for someone that loves food as much as I do.

8. Cats or Dogs?

🐈 Cats all the way!

9. What song would you sing at karaoke?

Gloria by Laura Branigan 🎤 but very badly.

10. What was the last film/tv show you watched?

The real answer is a shockingly bad reality TV show so I’ll just say my favourite movie is Guy Ritchie’s Snatch in an attempt to redeem myself.

11. What does recruitment in the future look like?

I hope to see further advances in the AI space – profile searches that are more user friendly and intelligent. I envision businesses will need to focus more than ever on employer branding and reputation – with everyone voicing their opinions and experiences on social media, it’s crucial for companies to maintain good standing in the eyes of past and future employees to retain and attract talent ✌️
